To have a successful study session, you need notes that will refresh your memory. To that end, it is important that you keep an organized notebook. Continue reading to learn how to do just that.

How to Keep Your Notebooks Organized

Separate Your Subjects

Having all of your notes for all of your subjects in one notebook can result in confusion, messiness, and a less successful learning experience. That's why you should opt to have one notebook for each subject.

Always Set Down a Title and the Date

Writing down a title for each of the lessons in your notebook, as well as noting the date in which you took the notes, will allow you to easily find the exact lessons you're searching so you can start studying.

Don't Save Loose Papers in Your Notebooks

It's not uncommon for students to take loose papers, fold them up, and save them inside their notebooks. Still, this could lead to them getting lost. Instead, use folders to hold on to those papers. Additionally, don't rip out the pages in your notebook.

Avoid Dirty Notebooks

Doodles on your notebooks, a lot of mistakes in your notes, or simply letting it get dirty, can distract you when you should be focusing on studying. For that reason, do your best to keep your notebooks clean.
